Potty Chairs of the Fancy Kind

If you are looking for potty chairs to try to get your toddler to sit on one, how about a potty chair that is truly fancy and special? A potty chair that doesn't look anything like what it is supposed to be at one glance, at least to me:

While all these fancy potty chairs look stylish and I bet would appeal to most toddlers, the question is do you think it helps in their toilet-training? After all, you can get one simple potty for less than $10 but with this type of potty chairs, you probably be paying at least $50 for one.

I'm also wondering if you can get your toddler to relate this type of potty chair to pooping if it looks more like a toy chair in the first place. Maybe it's only me because in my mind a potty or a toilet needs to be of a certain shape. Otherwise, it's kind of hard to do whatever needs to be done, right?

Note: The above potty chairs are available from Amazon

Tracing A Call

Not too long ago, we simply have no way of knowing who called us when we happened to miss a call. Or we may have rushed to answer a ringing phone only to find out that it is a prank call.

However, nowadays with much better technology, calls can be traced to find out who is behind the calls made. Many phones now are able to display the phone number of the caller and using this information, you can then find out the owner of that number through a reverse phone lookup.

For instance, if you have been getting prank calls, you can use the phone number that is displayed to check the owner’s name and address. There are sites now that allow you to simply type in the phone number and search for information on its owner. Convenient and useful, such a service is certainly helpful when we are left wondering who is calling us.

Getting A Toddler To Sit On The Potty

Found this picture here while surfing the net. Kind of cute to find a toddler sitting on a potty with an "interesting" magazine in hand and a bottle beside him.

Well, if you are toilet-training your toddler currently and finding it to be a pain, maybe you can try the above method?? :D

My Squidoo Lenses On Toddler Stuff

If you are wondering what Squidoo is, let me tell you that it is my new addiction these days. I spend quite a lot of time there creating webpages or lenses as they are known in Squidoo. Basically, it is a site that allows you to create webpages for free on any topic that strikes your fancy.

The cool thing about Squidoo is it encourages you to sell things on your pages through online retailers such as Amazon. Items that get sold through a click from your page would then earn you some money on a sharing basis with Squidoo.

So, for all the time that I have spent on Squidoo, what have I achieved? Well, drop by Fire Truck Toddler Bed and Toddler Bedding Set to find out then! :)

New Radios

Have you heard of high definition radio? If you have not, then you are certainly not in keeping with the times. Nowadays, radio stations with FM broadcast are beginning to have CD-sound quality. And not only you will be able to listen to crystal clear music when you on your radio but it can also give you iTunes Tagging convenience.

This means if you like the song being played over the radio, you can simply tagged it and buy it online when you next turn on your computer. Of course, to be able to do so, you will need a HD radio with that capability such as the Jensen JiMS 525i model. In fact, there are now many HD radios available in the market and they are fast gaining popularity.

Such a radio is a great investment now because more and more stations are broadcasting digitally. If you are unsure whether you should spend your money on such a radio, simply check out new music stations with HD broadcast or those that are coming on stream to see if it will be a worth a buy.

Getting my Toddler to Pick Up his Toys

Does your toddler have this habit of leaving his toys everywhere in the house? Right now, my son likes to take all his toys out from the toy box which leaves a total mess on the floor. As a result, the poor me end up putting everything back when night time comes.

I don't think a toddler would be cooperative when it comes to putting back his toys, especially when they can fill one whole big box. Nevertheless, I try to get him to do so as he needs to learn to put back his own stuff.

So, what I tend to do is to get him to put back a small pile and I pick up the rest. Or I ask him to help me by getting those toys not within my reach as I sit next to the box. I have to admit that there are times when these methods do not work. I guess even toddlers can be lazy sometimes.

My hope is as he grows, he will create less mess and know how to pick up after his own things. I just can't stand living in a messy home but this is what I have to put up with right now with a little kid around. Grrrr!!
